Phillips has earned accommodation in the ranks of leading professionals with Stanford Who's Who as a result of her outstanding professional career. As Intake Coordinator with the Maine Department of Health and Human Services, Mildred has consistently demonstrated the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
The Maine Department of Health and Human Services is an organization which is dedicated to ensuring that the citizens of Maine have the ability to live safe, healthy, and productive lives. The mission of the organization is to provide integrated health and human services to the people of Maine to assist individuals in meeting their needs, while respecting the rights and preferences of the individual and family, within available resources.
Mildred is responsible for handling the intake and assessing the eligibility of people with developmental disabilities. She enters their information into the system to determine whether they qualify for a Case Manager and proceeds to lead them in the proper direction for receiving the care they need.
During her collegiate career, Mildred earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Southern Maine as well as an Associate's degree as a Medical Assistant from Kaplan University. She is routinely involved in her local community and is a regular participant in church activities.
