CAGUAS, PR, September 8, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who welcomes Yocasta Brugal, MD to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of her exceptional effort in the Education Industry. As President and Dean of the San Juan Bautista School of Medicine, as well as throughout her brilliant professional career, Dr. Brugal has routinely demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.
Established in 1978, the San Juan Bautista School of Medicine is an LCME accredited private medical school that offers a four-year Doctor of Medicine degree program and a local Transitional Year program. The first two years of the curriculum are basic sciences courses within the school campus and the last two years are clinical sciences at the hospitals.
Dr. Brugal is responsible for running the programs and designing curriculum as well as serving as Council of the Board for Educational Programs. During her collegiate career, she earned a Doctorate degree while studying in Spain and a Bachelor's degree in Natural Science and Physics in the Dominican Republic. Dr. Brugal is a member of the Forensic Pathology Society and the Pan American Society of Forensic Pathology. She has been published on several occasions.
